Engineering

Panel Fabrication

We fabricate control panels of all sizes at our 26,000 sq. ft. facility located in Williamsport Maryland.  In addition to PLC and motor control panels our expertise includes large E-House manufacturing.   Our panel shop is staffed by our own employees, and we are UL-508A and CSA certified.

Programming

We are proficient in the leading PLC and SCADA products.  Having successfully implemented hundreds of projects over the last 35 years we can create well structured applications and interfaces that meet our customers unique requirements.  We often work with customers that have specific standards for application structure and development.   We are capable of furnishing turn-key solutions that integrate seamlessly into their desired architecture. These often include integration with a WMS or ERP system.

Installation

After the engineering and manufacturing tasks are complete its time to install your new system. We understand that this can be a very disruptive process for the customer if not carefully planned and executed. This is especially true if your project is a control system modernization. South Atlantic Controls works closely with our customers to generate a detailed installation schedule that is the least disruptive to their operations 

 

 As a standard practice, South Atlantic Controls provides on-site personnel training with every project. Detailed operator and maintenance manuals are delivered to the customer. Our expert engineers then sit down face to face with the different groups of customer employees who will be involved with the system and walk them through everything they need to know.
